These Terms of Use are the rules for browsing this site and buying from SKYLUX. Placing an order, creating an account, or simply continuing to use the site after this page changes all count as accepting whatever version is posted here at the time.

1. Who This Applies To

You need to be the age of majority where you live, or have a parent or guardian's permission, to use this site or place an order. By using it, you're confirming that's true. Don't use the site on behalf of a minor without that permission in place.

2. Acceptable Use

Browse, shop, and interact with the site freely — that's what it's here for. What's not allowed:

• Using the site for anything unlawful, or to help someone else do something unlawful.
• Attempting to access areas, accounts, or data that aren't yours.
• Uploading or transmitting viruses, malware, or anything designed to disrupt the site or its infrastructure.
• Scraping, crawling, or harvesting content or pricing at scale without our written permission.
• Impersonating another person, or misrepresenting your affiliation with anyone.
• Interfering with other shoppers' use of the site, including through harassment or abuse directed at our staff.

We can suspend or close an account, cancel an order, or restrict access for anyone who breaches this section, without needing to give advance notice.

3. Accounts

If you create an account, keep your password confidential and tell us right away if you think someone else has access to it. You're responsible for activity on your account unless that activity is the result of our own security failure.

4. Product Listings, Pricing & Availability

• We describe every configuration as accurately as we can, but screen colours vary by device and lighting — see our Size Guide for real dimensions rather than relying on photos alone.
• Prices are in Canadian dollars and can change at any time without notice; the price that applies to your order is the one shown at checkout when you complete it.
• If a price or product detail is posted incorrectly because of a typo, pricing-feed error, or technical fault, we can cancel the affected order and refund whatever you were charged, or contact you to confirm the correct terms before proceeding.
• We can limit order quantities, retire a configuration or colour, or decline to fulfill any order, at our discretion — including orders that look like bulk reselling rather than personal use.

5. Placing & Paying for an Order

Submitting an order is an offer to buy, which becomes binding once we confirm and process it — not before. You're responsible for making sure your name, shipping address, billing details, and payment information are accurate and current, since we rely on them to fulfill and, where needed, contact you about your order. We accept the payment methods shown at checkout.

6. Shipping, Returns & the Frame Warranty

Delivery windows and rates live in our Shipping Policy. If a configuration isn't right for you, our Return Policy sets out the window, the process, and the fees involved. The wood frame in every module carries our Lifetime Warranty, on its own separate terms. All three pages are incorporated into this agreement by reference — by ordering, you're agreeing to them too.

7. Reviews, Photos & Anything Else You Send Us

If you submit a review, photo, referral note, or other content to us — whether we asked for it or not — you're granting SKYLUX a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide right to display, reproduce, and adapt it in connection with promoting the site and its products. You confirm you actually have the right to share what you send, and that it doesn't infringe anyone else's rights or contain anything unlawful, defamatory, or obscene. We can decline to post, or remove, any submission at our discretion, and we're not obligated to pay for or respond to unsolicited ideas or suggestions.

8. Financing & Other Third-Party Tools

Some features on this site — our financing partner's checkout application being the main one — are provided by companies we don't control. We make no promises about those tools' availability, accuracy, or outcomes, and using them is between you and that provider under their own terms.

9. Links to Other Sites

Where this site links out to somewhere else, that's a convenience, not an endorsement. We haven't reviewed those sites in detail and aren't responsible for their content, their policies, or anything that happens if you transact with them.

What we collect and how we use it is covered in our Privacy Policy, not repeated here.

11. Mistakes & Corrections

Despite our best efforts, the site can occasionally contain a typo, an outdated dimension, or a pricing error. We can correct these at any time, including after you've placed an order affected by one, and we're not obligated to honour an error once it's identified — though where that happens on a completed order, we'll always offer a full refund rather than just cancelling silently.

12. Ownership of Site Content

Everything on this site — copy, photography, layout, the SKYLUX name, and the Drift Collection branding — belongs to SKYLUX or is used under licence, and is protected under Canadian and international law. You're welcome to share a link to a product page; you don't have permission to copy our photography, republish our copy, or build a competing listing from our content.

13. No Guarantees Beyond What We State

Outside of what's explicitly promised on our Warranty, Shipping, and Return Policy pages, we provide this site and its contents on an as-is, as-available basis. We don't guarantee the site will always be free of errors, uninterrupted, or perfectly secure, and we don't guarantee that a product will meet expectations that go beyond what its listing actually states.

14. Limits on Our Liability

To the extent the law allows it, SKYLUX's total liability to you for any claim relating to your order or use of the site is capped at the amount you paid for the product involved. We're not liable for indirect losses — lost time, inconvenience, or consequential costs — arising from a delay, a return, or an issue with a product, beyond the remedies already set out in our policies. Nothing here limits any right you hold under consumer protection legislation that can't be waived by contract.

15. If Something Goes Wrong Because of Your Use

If a claim, loss, or cost arises because you violated this agreement or misused the site — as opposed to an issue with our product or service — you agree to cover SKYLUX's reasonable costs in dealing with it.

16. If a Clause Doesn't Hold Up

If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, only that part is set aside — everything else stays in effect.

17. Ending This Agreement

You can stop using the site any time. We can suspend or end your access for a breach of Section 2, or for suspected fraud, without needing to give notice first. Sections that by their nature should survive — ownership, liability limits, and dispute terms among them — continue to apply after either of us ends this agreement.

18. Governing Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, regardless of where you're accessing the site from.

19. Updates to These Terms

We may revise this page as the business grows. The version live at the time you place an order is the one that governs that order; check back periodically if you want to stay current.

20. The Whole Agreement

Together with our Shipping, Return, Warranty, and Privacy policies, this page is the entire agreement between you and SKYLUX regarding use of the site — it replaces any earlier version of these terms or prior understanding on the same subject.
